We believe that college students & young adults aren’t members of tomorrow’s church; they’re leaders of the church today! Through our internship program we hire, train, and help develop the next generation of church leaders who are prepared to serve in ministries such as Children & Youth, University, Worship, Church Online, Global Missions & Creative Media. But it doesn’t just support our church. Through The Church Resource Hub and strategic partnerships, we share the blessings of our interns with other churches and organizations, scaling the work of our students to a national scale.

Meet Luke G. He’s from West Texas and is studying Graphic Design at Harding University. Luke has served as a graphic design intern at Downtown for 2 semesters helping to design and create many of the resources you see on the site. When asked about his experience, here’s what he had to say…

“The Internship experience at Downtown has been a huge blessing. There might be some days where I’m not doing the best… But it’s really uplifting to know they still support me, even on my bad days. I feel like I’ve grown a lot here. I feel like I’ve grown spiritually, and also in my line of work with Graphic Design. I have an expansive portfolio to show that I have things I’ve worked on outside of classwork.”
